🗄️Advanced Input Data Management >> Manual Data Entry
The Manual Data Entry feature is engineered for precision and immediacy, allowing users to rapidly update core safety metrics directly within the application's hierarchical view.
Data input is facilitated by an intuitive workflow:
Direct Input: Users can initiate manual data entry by double-clicking on the input fields—HOURS, INJURIES, DAYS and NOTES associated with any specific organizational node. This instantly opens the designated fields for editing the monthly metrics.
Targeted Metrics: This process allows for the direct updating of the essential metrics required for accurate FR and SR calculations: Monthly Hours Worked, Monthly Number of Injuries, Monthly Lost Days and Notes regarding data.
The system provides crucial flexibility while maintaining data integrity:
Current and Lagging Month Entry: Users have the ability to manually input data for the current reporting month as well as the immediately preceding month. This grace period is specifically designed to accommodate delays in receiving final metrics.
Historical Data Protection: It is strictly not possible to modify the historical data stored for any months preceding the immediate prior month. This constraint ensures the integrity, compliance, and reliability of all historical trend analysis and auditing processes.
