2. Local Data Processing (Desktop Application) HSEING is designed as a secure, offline desktop application. We prioritize your organizational due diligence and data confidentiality.
Local Storage: All sensitive workplace safety data—including recorded hours, injuries, lost days, and organizational asset configurations—is stored strictly on your local machine using an integrated SQLite database.
No Cloud Transmission: The default directory for your incident data is locally hosted (e.g., /hseing/data/), and we do not transmit, sync, or access your company's private safety records via the cloud.
Your Control: You retain complete ownership of your database. You are responsible for managing access through the software's user access management and securing your data via the application's automatic monthly backup feature, which can be redirected to your own secure network drives.
3. Data Collected for Licensing and Web Services To provide you with the software and manage your subscription lifecycle, we collect minimal personal information through our website's User Area.
Account & Trial Information: When you request the Free Edition or purchase the Pro Edition, we collect your name, email address, and trial/license expiration dates, which are securely processed using our Google Apps Script and Google Sheets backend.
License Validation: To deliver the software securely, we generate a unique TOKEN_ID included with your installer. Additionally, the software generates and stores an InstallationID in your system registry to securely manage license transitions, renewals, and prevent unauthorized access after expiration.
4. How We Use Your Information The personal data collected through our website is used exclusively to:
Deliver the correct HSEing software installer to your email.
Validate your license status (Free Edition or Pro Edition).
Provide technical maintenance, updates, and customer support.

Third-Party Services We utilize Google Sites and Google Workspace tools (such as Google Sheets and Google Apps Script) strictly for hosting our User Area, managing download requests, and organizing license data. We do not sell or share your personal contact information with external marketing agencies.
